I wonder what it's like to be an angel;
to watch over those you love
and know the secrets of the universe.
I wonder how it feels to be in heaven;
to soar above the clouds
and find everlasting peace.
I wonder what it is like to know God;
to rest in his kingdom
and watch the world unfold.
I wonder how it feels to fly;
to leave it all behind
and go to the highest mountains.
I wonder what it's like as a spirit;
to connect with those we've lost
and meet those who are yet born.
