Today I was inspired and moved by a little girl named Kates story. She is 7 years old and in 2009 she was diagnosed with a rare aggressive brain tumor called a supratentorial primitive neuroectodermal tumor or sPNET. She underwent surgery, several rounds of chemo, radiation, and stem cell transplant. This little girls story moved me to tears and reminded me of how precious life is. She fought her way through treatment and was cancer free for a few months before finding out a few weeks ago that the cancer is back. I can only imagine the pain that this family is enduring and how important it is to believe in the saving power of God. He has a plan for each of our lives and has the ability to work miracles. Please join in Kate's story and fervently pray that God will heal her.

This got me thinking....
What if you or someone you loved was severely ill?
- Would you be able to put your faith and trust in God?
- Would you tell them everything you have ever wished to say?
- Would you talk about the possibility of death and heaven?
- Would you reach out to others for support?
- Would you be able to continue on with your life and find happiness?
- Would you be able to stay strong?
- Why should we wait until we are in despair to reach out to God?
- Why should we wait until something bad happens to tell them how we feel about them?
- Why shouldn't we ponder the existance of heaven and death?
- Why shouldn't we reach out to others for support and offer it back?
- Why should we wait to find happiness when it's right here in front of us?
- Why should we wait until being strong is the only option we have?
It should come as no surprise that eventually we all are going to die. I propose that we start living the way that God intended us to do. He intended us to live with loving and compassionate hearts, a helpful hand, and a powerful mind. I challenge you to tell everyone you love just how you feel about them, you never want to live with the regret of it being too late....trust me.
