I intend on doing whatever it is my heart desires today. We had to take Chino to the vet this afternoon to get him caught up on his vaccinations. We have been taking him to the same vet ever since he was a puppy. We figured after he pooped on their floor that we are sanctioned there now. He is so funny when we go there. He loves all of the smells and is so curious about what is going on. He listens intently to every sound, every door opening and closing, every voice, every dog walking by. We knew he had put on a little weight but didn't think he was up to 75 lbs now! Happy fat dog! The new vet was really nice and referred to Chino as our "son" which is entirely appropriate considering our lives revolve around him. Any dog owners can relate.
So I was thinking, they say that dogs hear better in higher pitch tones. So what came first? Do dogs naturally hear higher tones better or did they evolve to because humans talk to them in higher pitched voices? [don't lie, you know you do it]
It looks like he liked getting his temperature taken...
Not so enthused after shots.
